Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Walkthru website, iOS app, and shared task and project links (together, the "Service"), operated by Walkthru ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least the age of majority in your location, or the minimum age required to consent to use online services, to create an account. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Using the Service

Walkthru lets you capture videos, photos, voice notes, text, and drawings, turns them into organized tasks, translates them, and lets you share a task list with a contractor via a web link. A contractor you share with can view the shared content and interact with it without downloading the app or creating an account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to upload content you do not have the right to share.
• Upload content that is infringing, harmful, or violates the rights or privacy of others.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Misuse shared links or access content you were not given permission to view.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you capture and upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, translate, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and the people you share it with. You are responsible for what you upload and share, and for obtaining any consents needed to record and share it.

5. Automated tasks and translations

Task lists, checklists, and translations are generated by automated systems and are provided to assist you. They may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing them before relying on or acting on them. We do not guarantee that generated tasks or translations are accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

6. Contractors and third parties

Walkthru is a communication tool. We are not a party to any agreement between you and your contractor, and we are not responsible for the work performed, the accuracy of quotes, or any dispute between you and anyone you share content with.

7. Fees

Some features may require payment. Where fees apply, they will be disclosed to you before you are charged. Purchases made through the App Store are also subject to Apple's terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
